기도 - 우리영혼의 브릿지

Building Inner Bridges

Prayer is the Bridge between our conscious and unconscious lives. Often there is a large abyss between our thoughts, words, and actions, and the many images that emerge in our daydreams and night dreams. To pray is to connect there two sides of our lives by going to the place where God dwells. Prayer is "soul work" because our souls are those scared centers where all is one and where God is with us in the most intimate way.

Thus, we must pray without ceasing so that we can become truly whole and holy

abyss - 심연

emerge - 나오다, 나타나다. to come out of a dark, confined(갇힌) or hidden place

내면의 다리를 세우기

기도는 우리의 의식과 무의식의 삶 사이의 다리이다. 자주 우리의 생각과 말들 그리고 행동사이 그리고 우리의 몽상과 밤의 꿈 사이에 출현된 많은 이미지에는 거대한 심연이 있다.

기도하는 것은 하나님이 거하시는 곳으로 감으로 우리의 삶의 두 끝이 연결되는 것이다. 기도는 ‘영혼의 일’이다. 왜냐하면 우리의 영혼은 두려움의 중심이며 동시에 하나님이 극도의 친밀의 길로 우리와 함께 하시는 곳인 모든 것이 하나인 곳이다.

그러므로, 우리는 우리가 진실해지고 거룩해 지기 위해 끊임없이 기도해야만 한다.
