Words That Create

Words, words, words. Our society is full of words: on billboards, on television screens, in newspapers and books. Words whispered, shouted, and sung. Words that move, dance, and change in size and color. Words that say, "Taste me, smell me, eat me, drink me, sleep with me," but most of all, "buy me." With so many words around us, we quickly say, "Well, they're just words." Thus, words have lost much of their power.

Still, the word has the power to create. When God speaks, God creates. When God says, "Let's there be light"(Genesis 1:3), light is. God speaks light. For God, speaking and creating are the same. It is this creative power of the word we need to reclaim. What we say is very important.

When we say, "I love you," and say it from the heart, we can give another person new life, new hope, new courage. When we say, "I hate you," we can destroy another person. Let's watch our words.

창조의 언어

말들, 말들, 말들. 우리의 사회는 말들로 가득 차 있다: 광고게시판에, 텔레비젼 화면에, 신문들과 책들에. 말들은 속삭였고, 소리쳤고, 노래했다. 움직이고 춤추고 크기와 색깔이 변하는 말들. “나를 먹으라, 나를 냄새 맡으라, 나를 마셔라, 나와 함께 자라고” 말하는 말들, 그러나 모두 다 “나를 사라” 그래서 많은 말들이 나를 둘러싸고, 우리는 즉시 말한다. “좋아, 그것들은 단지 말일뿐이야.” 그러므로, 말들은 그들의 힘의 많은 것을 잃어버렸다.

여전히, 그 말은 창조의 힘을 가지고 있다. 하나님이 말씀하실 때, 하나님은 창조하신다. 하나님이 “빛이 있으라 ”(창 1:3)말씀하시자. 빛이 있었다. 그러므로 하나님께는, 말씀하심과 창조는 같은 것이다.

이것이 우리가 회복할 필요가 있는 창조적임 말의 힘이다. 우리가 말하는 것은 매우 중요하다.

우리가 “나는 너를 사랑한다.” 말할 때, 이것은 마음으로부터 이것을 말하는 것이다. 우리는 다른 사람에게 새로운 삶, 새로운 희망, 새로운 격려를 줄 수 있다. 우리가 “난 널 미워해”라고 말할 때, 우리는 다른 사람을 파괴 시킬 수 있다. 우리의 말에 조심하도록 하자
