Living in a State of Preparedness Everything that comes from God asks for an open and faithful heart. We cannot live with hope and joy in the end-time unless we are living in a state of preparedness. We have to be careful because, as the apostle Peter says, "Your enemy the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8). Therefore, Jesus says, "Watch yourselves, or your hearts will be coarsened by debauchery and drunkenness and the cares of life.... Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to hold your ground before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:34-36). 준비된 상태에서 살아가기 하나님께로부터 오는 모든 것은 열리고 신뢰할만한 마음을 요청한다. 우리는 준비의 상태에서 살아감이 없이 끝 날에 소망과 즐거움을 살 수 없는 것이다. 우리는 주의해야만 하는데 이유인즉, 사도 베드로가 말할 것 처럼, “너의 악한 적들이 우는 사자와 같이 배외하고, 게걸스럽게 먹을 누군가를 찾아 다니고 있다. (벧전 5:8)." 그러므로, 예수께서 말씀하시길, “너 자신을 지켜라, 그렇지 않으면 너의 마음이 조잡함과 술취함과 삶의 염려로부터 조잡해질 것이다.. 깨어 있으라, 생겨지는 모든 일들에서 살아남도록 강해지고 인자앞에서 당신의 지면에 설 수 있도록 하기위해 모든 시간에 기도하라” (눅 21:34-36). 그것이 우리를 부르시는 예수님의 영안에서 살아가는 것이다.
