The Sacredness of God's Handiwork How do we live in creation? Do we relate to it as a place full of "things" we can use for whatever need we want to fulfill and whatever goal we wish to accomplish? Or do we see creation first of all as a sacramental reality, a sacred space where God reveals to us the immense beauty of the Divine? As long as we only use creation, we cannot recognize its sacredness because we are approaching it as if we were its owners. But when we relate to all that surrounds us as created by the same God who created us and as the place where God appears to us and calls us to worship and adoration, then we are able to recognize the sacredness of all God's handiwork	handiwork - 손세공, 수공품 immense- 이루헤아릴수 없는, 멋진 adoration- 숭배, 동경
하나님의 수공품의 신성함 어떻게 우리가 창조 안에서 살아갈 수 있는가? 우리가 “이것들”의 충만한 공간으로 이것과 연결되고 우리가 무엇이든 성취하기 원하는 목표와 우리가 달성하기 원하는 필요를 위해 사용할 수 있는가? 혹은 우리가 하나님이 우리에게 드러내시는 신성의 헤아릴 수 없는 아름다움의 신성한 공간인 신성한 실재로서의 모든 것의 첫 번째 창조를 볼 수 있는가? 우리가 단지 창조를 사용하고자 하는 한, 우리는 이것의 신성함을 인식할 수 없는데 이유인즉 우리는 마치 우리가 이것의 주인인양 이것에 다가가고 있기 때문이다. 그러나 우리가 우리를 창조하신 동일한 하나님에 의해 창조되어진 것으로 우리를 둘러싼 모든 것과 연관되었을 때, 하나님은 우리에게 나타나시고 우리로 예배와 경배하도록 부르시는데, 그러고 나서야 우리는 모든 하나님의 수공품의 신성함을 인정할 수 있게 될 것이다.
